Savory Farmers’ Market at Travisso sells local goodness

Farmers’ markets are just another great summertime joy that keeps on giving. It seems we never tire of browsing tented booths filled with fresh produce, bountiful yields and handcrafted one-of-a-kind products. The Savory Farmer’s Market in Leander is no exception. As the new kid-on-the-block the market provides high-quality vendors offering premium farm, ranch, seafood, and local artisan products in the Travisso community. Open to the public, the market takes place on Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. at the community’s clubhouse, 2437 Travisso Parkway in Leander. And you won’t have to worry about dinner either. An on-site food truck provides viable options

The Savory Farmers’ Market was the inspiration of organizers Nathaniel and Sarah Ferguson owners of Savory Alaska, an Austin area business that sells top-quality Alaskan seafood. The market also features fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meats and artisan foods. To help you plan your shopping and weekday menu we’re providing a representative sample of participating vendors below. Let’s go shopping!
